We have a licence for the SLIMware/SLIMM product from Seattle Labs on ealing.cyberiacafe.net - Note: SLIMware includes SLmail, RemoteNT, and Emurl but isn't really a product in its own right just a licencing package.

SLMail uses the Primary Domain as the location for all mailboxes. So if mailboxes are required on a secondary domain it is necessary to create the mailbox in the primary domain (with a unique name) and then create the forward in the secondary domain.
Obviously, it is not necessary that the forwarded mailbox is on our server- forwards to other email systems are perfectly possible. Also, names can be duplicated in the secondary domains (eg postbox@thefilmeditors.com and postbox@xhost.co.uk) provided each resolve back to a unique local mailbox.
We normally take the default options for setups (allowing remote finger, password changing etc.)
Watch out for it saving passwords as blank (when you go back to edit the record you won't see any asterisks), most commomnly thishappens when you're saving several records and forget to save before moving to add another.

You can pre-create the web interface account (set the pop settings etc for customers) via the admin link above.
We have chosen to leave the auto signup option on - it emails root to tell it that it has created an id as we think this could be a good marketting tool in the future.
