Our nightly tape backups (run at 03:00am GMT) supplement our RAID drive protection. In addition, we offer restoration of single files up to whole sites via DLT tape backup. File restoration can be performed via an E-mail request to support@xhost.co.uk. Xhost believes data backup is critical. Consequently we keep all DLT tape media off-site for maximum protection. We also archive whole drive images to CD sets monthly using drive imaging software.

This three tier protection ensures your data is always protected.

We cannot guarantee that open files (Databases or files being edited at time of backup) can be restored. If you require this level of resilience please contact us at support@xhost.co.uk to discuss your requirements more individually.
