Connecting via WS-FTP

Open WS_FTP and the Session Properties window should open

• Host Name/Address: domain.com or IP address
• Host Type: Serv-U
• User ID: username
• Password: password

  Click on the OK button

   

   

• Once you connect, you will be defaulted to:

   

  

   

• Change directories to:  (you can edit the path in the address bar)

   

  

  Trounleshooting

   

• If you are unable to connect:

   

• Click on the Connect button

  

   

• The Session Properties window will open

   

• Go to the Advanced tab
• Make sure Passive Transfers is enabled
• Click on the OK button
