WebBoard

What is Webboard?

WebBoard is an internet conferencing application. Similar to newsgroups it allows many people to ask questions or post replies on topics of interest.

WebBoard's integrated ConferenceRoom IRC chat server allows up to 1,000 simultaneous users on both private and public IRC channels.

In addition to its conference and chat facilities, WebBoard users can participate in discussions via email. WebBoard subscribers can respond to messages and post new topics by email.

What can WebBoard be Used For?

Virtual Meetings
Everyone who's ever tried to schedule a project meeting, knows how difficult it can be to get people from disparate locations together; to make decisions. A WebBoard conference can provide a virtual meeting place that managers can logon to and discuss and exchange ideas. People do not have to access a conference at the same time - they can see what has already been proposed and add their comments for others to see.

Information Management
WebBoards natural hierarchical structure is ideal for managing projects and sub-projects. As a project takes off and more workpackages are required, a new topic or conference can quickly be created to meet demand.

Technical Support
WebBoard is an ideal medium for providing support. Customers and suppliers can easily exchange information, experiences and data in a way which no engaged ring tone, or queuing system can do.

As you start to use WebBoard you will soon appreciate its flexibility; whether you want to provide customer information, start a brain-storm or collaborate with colleagues on company projects - WebBoard's simplicity and efficiency will enable you to move forward without the interruptions of traditional work practices.
